CDS Global has secured a new contract with Berneslai Homes to process over one million images from housing and tenancy files within a three-month turnaround.
The project requires CDS Global to collect, prepare and scan the one million images and convert them into electronic format that can then be uploaded onto an electronic document record management system (EDRMS). As part of the service, CDS Global will then securely destroy the paper files.
Berneslai Homes is a top rated 3* ALMO that manages homes on behalf of Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council. With storage space at a premium due to a forthcoming head office move it was necessary for Berneslai Homes to reduce paperwork. With outstanding commitment to physical and logical security, CDS Global won the contract to provide this service – making Berneslai Homes another institution in the ever-expanding ‘paper-less’ environment.
