Interact is CDS Global's Web-based, high-speed, train-of-thought analysis tool designed specifically for marketing and business users. By using Interact, CDS Global clients are able to quickly and easily access remotely hosted data and perform fast selections, counts and extracts, all via an intuitive drag-and-drop graphical interface. In addition, users are able to create complex pivot tables, charts and Venn diagrams on the fly and save both these items and any selection rules for subsequent usage.
Interact is also tightly integrated with Microsoft Office – at any stage, results can be download to Excel, Word or PowerPoint – and rep. The product also contains a range of marketing-specific features, including integration with outbound e-mail/SMS tools, the application of fixed and "N Per" sample limits and a range of in-built wizards for performing activities such as basket and transaction analysis.
In addition, to the base Interact product, a number of additional modules are available as follows:
Interact Cascade
The Cascade module allows users to construct complex multi-level, multi-channel marketing campaigns capable of executing and and outputting the results of multiple selections in a single pass. Both individual and one per household/site de-duplication rules can be assigned along with limitation on budget and volume for each cell to ensure best use of marketing spend. Interact Cascade also keeps a complete contact history to allow business rules to be enforced that ensure no customer or prospect is contacted inappropriately. The product includes a scheduling engine that enables defined promotions to be run repeatedly unattended to facilitate automated interactions with customers.
MapPoint Integration
The MapPoint integration product allows users to plot the distribution of customers geographically and create sub-selections using a range of tools including "Drive Time" (selecting all users who can reach point X within a drive time of Y). For business users this product is of particular interest when creating marketing campaigns relating to events or conferences or to provide supporting information for classified advertising sales.
Decision Tree/Customer Profiling
This bolt-on allows users to build a range of statistical models for scoring customer behaviour and profiling customers. This is particularly useful when trying to bring additional "science" to the process of identifying prospects which may have a greater than average propensity to respond to certain marketing activities. Scores arising from the creation of statistical models can be written back against the Interact database as new data variables for use during subsequent analysis.
Interact Excelsior
The Interact Excelsior module allows users to create Excel-based reports that contain a combination of objects, such as pivot tables, charts and Venn diagrams, originally created using the base Interact product. These reports can then be refreshed at the touch of a button and published to non-Interact users as stand-alone Excel documents
