David Donnelly is executive director of global marketing and communications at CDS Global. He is responsible for the company’s marketing strategy and execution, including branding and awareness, corporate communications, public relations, analyst relations, demand generation, product marketing, corporate events, content marketing, sponsorships, web presence and digital strategy.
Donnelly joined CDS Global in 2007 as director of global communications. Prior to that, he spent 22 years at Hearst affiliate KCCI-TV in various roles, including production manager, photojournalist, broadcast director and assistant creative services director. During his tenure at KCCI, he was responsible for managing, coaching and hands-on creation of award-winning news stories and promotional campaigns through creative storytelling and brand expertise.
An Iowa State University graduate, Donnelly previously served on the board for Make-A-Wish Iowa’s Jolly Holiday Lights and is a member of the Media & Content Marketing Association (MCMA) and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
